One of the important elements in managing your employees is managing their annual leave liability.  Each year as you increase their salary this liability will also increase adding cost to your business.  In addition, to the financial liability, you also have to deal with the health and safety aspect of the issue.  This article refers to Tourism Australia's no leave no life website which has some tools and ideas for managing excess leave.
